Julia and I went to Nash Farm today. It is a restored farm in Grapevine made to reflect the life and times of settlers to Grapevine, The Nash Family. Inside the restored farmhouse we played with pioneer children's toys, looked at an old wood burning stove, learned about milking cows and had story time. We went for a wagon ride that was very fun. We also fed the chickens and played in the barn.
She watered the vegetables in the kitchen garden.
She drove the tractor.
She played in the dirt getting the field ready for planting.
We listened to The Little Red Hen at story time.
