Peace Love and Monkeys

Julia and I went to see Curious George at Verizon Theater today. She loves going to the show. She loves the music and it is so cute to watch her laugh at the funny parts.
She brought her stuffed George with her.

Coup Car City

One belongs at my sister's house, one goes to Valerie's house and one stays at Grandpa's house. They all ended up at our house for a few days so we got a good laugh. Valerie loves her coup car. She rides it around the house, eats snack in it, puts her drink in the cup holder in the back and she even sits in her coup car to watch TV. I think we will start something new. The family that coups together stays together. Thanks Grandpa for putting two coup cars together.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Grandma. The only reason this is getting included is for these precious girls who had so much fun doing this with grandpa. The End!

Ladybug Day

Julia and I snuck out of school early today and went to a Ladybug program at the Botanical Garden in Grapevine. She got to hold and release ladybugs into the garden. She made lots of ladybug crafts, which she loved. She named her pet rock ladybug "Valerie".
Then finally we just played in the gardens and fed the fish. It was a fun fall September afternoon in Texas which means it was hot, hot, hot.

Grapefest

We took Valerie to Grapefest today. She had fun watching all the people. Have you ever seen a Ferris wheel with a giraffe? She also enjoyed feeding the animals at the petting zoo. She was more brave than I thought she would be.

Dress Up

Julia is a butterfly playing with her new dress up clothes. She wants to fly and tells me to turn the fan on so that she can have wind.
Valerie gets in on the action and dresses up also and goes for a ride in her car.

Labor Day Weekend

Angela and Jeff closed on the Chicken House. When they were looking for a new house after they sold their house I asked Julia which house she wanted to move into and she said "the chicken house." We had no idea what she was talking about but soon found out there was a metal chicken in the front flower bed. After that their new home became known as "The Chicken House." Friday night David and I took both girls to the Birdville Football game. They had a great time. Renee works with the colorguard and the band so we hung out with her for awhile. They had a great time but never sat still so it was hard getting a picture.
On Sunday, all the girls went shopping and to ride the Round and Round.

Then today we went to Jump for Fun. Julia branched out and went in more of the different bounce houses. She loves the maze one and the high slide.

We ended the weekend with Valerie modeling her new coat. She is so stinkin cute.
