Vacation with Valerie

Renee and I took Valerie to SeaWorld this weekend for a 

mini vacation.  She loved it.

 She loved getting so close to the dolphins.

 She loved riding the rides.  She wants to be bigger so 

she can ride big roller coasters.

 But mostly she loved seeing shamu and getting all wet.

Build a Bear

The girls and I went to Build a Bear today.

They had a great time building a new friend.  

First they stuffed their bear.

Then they washed their friend.

Finally they picked out outfits and dressed their new friend.

These girls are so precious to me.  

I am so happy to get to spend this time with them.

Camping at Vineyard in Grapevine

We took the girls camping this weekend.

We found a trail to hike on.  The girls loved it.

Today we went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

 Julia's favorite part of the museum is the dino bone dig.

 Fun in the interactive children's area.

Julia wanted to have her picture taken with the dinosaur. 

 Valerie would have no part of this scary guy.

Playdate

Julia went for a playdate with Sofie and Emma today.  

These three girls became so close this year in their 

preschool class at ECDC.

Swim Lessons

I take the girls to swim lessons at Emler every Monday.

This year Julia is a little fish and Valerie has decided she does not want to get her face wet.

Putt Putt and Rides

Today we went to Putt Putt to ride the teacups.  We always pass this place and Julia ask if we can go there.  

They loved it. They were able to ride 

the planes, teacups and roller coaster.  

Then we got to play Putt Putt.  They were so good.  They were so focused and keep working and working until they got the ball in the hole.

Or if you are Valerie you put the ball right where you want 

it to get it in the hole.

It was a fun summer activity.
