Homecoming

After 7 days in NICU Andrew finally came 

home from the hospital today.

Julia wanted him to try out his new bed and 
see his adorable room.

Valerie wanted him to take off his socks so 

she could see his piggies.

But they both are very happy he is home.

We arrived at the hospital very early.

waiting for Andrew to get here.

Thomas the Train

Thomas the Train + Rain = Messy Fun

We took the girls to ride Thomas the Train today.  It was raining on and off but the girls had a great time. They got to see Mr. David.  In fact we were the only people watching Mr. David. LOL.

Dora at Arties

Julia and Valerie loved Dora Pirate Adventure at Arties today.  This theater is truly the best keep secret.  Its small, kid friendly and always has a good production.

Student of the Week

Valerie was Student of the Week in her preschool class this week.  She was so proud.  I picked her up on Friday afternoon and she ran to her cubby to get out her certificate and tell me all about it.

She said all my friends clapped and I bowed.

I do not think the student of the week should stick her tongue out at her cousin, Julia who was trying to get her to smile.

Baby Chicks

Today I took the girls over to my sisters to see 

their new baby chicks. 

Julia loved holding them.  The chick loved climbing on her head.

Valerie came with us but she would not hold the chicks.

Alice at Casa

Julia and I went to see Alice in Wonderland at Casa today.

It was a great production.  She loved it.

ECDC Easter Party

Valerie and Julia enjoyed her school Easter Party.  There was plenty to eat, hunting Easter Eggs and even a mystery reader.

 I was the luckiest and got to be the Mystery Reader in Valerie's room.  

Rabbit Cake

The girls and I made our traditional Rabbit Cake today.

 Valerie ate more than she decorated.
