The girls came over for Memorial Day. Oh yea and they brought their parents. Valerie slept the whole visit and Julia tried the pool for the first time this year. She kept telling David "Sit down pawpaw and splash." It is going to be a fun summer.

Two Sweet Girls

Here are two precious gifts from God. Julia is so proud of her new baby cousin. We asked her if she wanted to hold Valerie and she jumped up in the chair and held out her hands. David and I are going to have so much fun with these two.

TEAM VALERIE

Aunt Angela, once a sorority girl always a sorority girl, made us all Team Valerie Tee shirts. The whole family waited for Valerie to be born in our special Team shirts. We did not have to wait long. Valerie was born 7:50 am on Saturday, May 9. Cousin Julia did not quite know what to think about all the excitement but she loved cheering "Go Team Valerie."

Look at Us

We are grandparents again. Baby Valerie Alexis was born Saturday, May 9. Renee and Chris blessed us with a new baby granddaughter. She was born the day before Mother's Day. Renee is going to be the most amazing mother. I do not believe there has ever been a mother who is happier to welcome this sweet baby girl into the world more than Renee.
