Pool Picnic

We are having our pool redone.  So while the pool was drained the girls kept asking me to walk down to the bottom. 

 I kept telling them I do not think so.  

Then Aunt Renee comes over and says sure lets go have a picnic.   

Splash Pad

Renee and I took Valerie to the Splash Pad in Roanoke today. 

 She was a little shy at first but after she got use to it she loved it.

Legoland

It was raining today so we went to Legoland for an indoor activity.

They really had fun.  Look how much they have grown since last summer's trip to Legoland.

Movie Day

The girls and I enjoy going to Hawkins Theater one

day a week for their Summer Movies.

Today we saw Happy Feet Two.  They loved the dancing.

After the movie we had to go throw pennies in the fountain.

Summer Reading

Today we went to the Grapevine Library to join the 

Summer Reading Program.  We went to story time.  

Julia knew just what books she wanted to checkout and Valerie wanted to play with the puppets.

We Love ECDC

Today was the last day of school.  

The girls both love their school so much.

Valerie will return in t he Fall. 

Julia will go to Kindergarten at Bear Creek.

First Swim

Last day of School means first of many swims.
