Happy 5th Birthday, Julia!

Julia's birthday this year was on the first day of Spring Break.  On her birthday Julia had cupcake and ice cream for breakfast.

Then we went to the American Girl Store for shopping and lunch.

Then after mommy and daddy got off of work we went to Olive Garden for dinner with the whole family.

Today we took the girls to The Rainforest Cafe at Grapevine Mills.

They loved watching the dancing gorilla and elephants.

Check out their ladybug bracelets from the balloon lady.

We also went to ride the merry-go-round.

Happy 5th Birthday JULIA!

 Julia had a fairy ballerina party at The Castle at 280 parties.  All of the guest came dressed like a fairy or ballerina.

Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies

Today Valerie and I baked chocolate chip cookies.  

She LOVED IT!  

She was very excited to crack the eggs and mix.  She wanted to do everything herself.  She is getting so big.

Most of all she loved eating the beaters.

The very happiest moment was after nap when she got 

to eat a chocolate chip cookie.

Mardis Gras in Texas

Julia and Valerie dressed up for Mardis Gras at their school today. 

 

Charlotte's Web

Julia, Valerie and I went to Casa Manana today to see Charlotte's Web.  Angela read Julia the book so she has been really excited to go see it.  It was a really good production.  The actors acted out the animals with puppets.  It was very cleverly done.  As we were leaving Julia said "Grandma Templeton was a very good actor."  I love that she understands the whole theater production thing.   

They are being spiders here.
